Something different...

Something different...

Last weekend we opened our family cabin in Algonquin Park. Our grandfather built it in the 1940's; it also happens to be on the same lake where we went to summer camp for (too) many years. The people we've met there are still great friends, and we doubt that will ever change. Sufficed to say, this is a special place for us, and a constant reminder of how lucky we are. Without it, Tuck Shop simply wouldn't exist.

This is a place that deserves to be shared, and it was in this spirit that The Taylor Statten Camping Bursary Fund (est.1972) was created. For families that need assistance bridging the gap between camp fees and their financial means, the TSCBF offers support that can be put towards any camp that is an accredited member of the Ontario Camps Association or Canadian Camping Association.

Help send kids to camp through tscbf.com, or pick up one of our Canoe Lake toques; all proceeds are donated directly to the Bursary. It's a cause that means a great deal to us, and we hope it means something to you, too :)

'Til next time,
Tuck Shop
